Blogging For Change is a new course specifically aimed at those of you who want to use social media to make change happen – and if you’re writing a blog about men and boys then you can get this course at a reduced rate that is less than half the full price.
The course is designed by Glen Poole of The Men’s Network who has been leading blog writing courses for PR professionals for several years.
Glen was inspired to develop this new course after using blogging to help put the issue of Unnecessary Male Circumcision into the national media.
Glen’s End Male Circumcision blog helped him to secure national and international media coverage within 3 months of being launched and led to an invitation to the House Of Commons to discuss how the issue can be addressed politically.
In Glen’s experience blogs can be an invaluable free resource for anyone committed to making change happen.
Glen has previously delivered courses on blog writing skills to delegates from a broad range of organisations including the Crown Prosecution Service, the NHS, the Fire Service, the National Farmers Union, NHS, the City of London, WaterAid, WWF, International Planned Parenthood Foundation,Universities UK and Dorset Cereals.
In this new Blogging For Change course, Glen will focus on helping participants discover how to use blogging to make change happen.
The course is run by Leading The Change a social enterprise that has supported the development of several men’s projects through its Community Leaders Programme that was piloted in partnership with The Men’s Network in 2011.
