Journeyman UK will be running a unique course for men aged 30+ called ‘Awaken the Inner King’ on the weekend of 5/6/7 October in Bristol.
Drawing on archetypes, myth, depth and applied psychology, this weekend will help you to explore and align your internal map with ‘True North’; the direction we assign to the Inner King.
While this course is suitable for men who are currently involved in mentoring, it is also an excellent opportunity for any men who wish to explore their lives in relation to the King archetype, the part of the mature masculine that brings the courage of the Warrior, the passion of the Lover and the wisdom of the Magician together, in service to the world.
It is designed to lead you as a man further into your roles as a father, mentor, elder and leader in your community, as we explore what it means to be a ‘Generative Man’ – an authentic protector, provider and procreator who acts as a steward of the earth for future generations.
The flow of the weekend will include experiential exercises, facilitated demonstrations, group discussions all aimed at exploring and accessing the core skills and qualities of the Inner King. Much of the work will take place in small group settings and there will also be opportunities for 1:1 coaching and support.
Men will leave with a sense of their personal expression of the King within, a clear sense of purpose and the tools to embody their power with humility and integrity in service to their own chosen realm.
Cost – £225.00 (paid in full by 14/09/12) To secure your place a non-refundable deposit of £50.00 is required. Bursary places are limited and dependent on available funds.
The weekend will is open to a maximum of 30 participants.

“As a man gets personally stronger, he must find things that will relate him back to the world. He needs to take responsibility for making changes in the world and not only himself. Know thyself by all means…and know that once you are on the way with this work, there is even more satisfying work to come.” The King Within, Moore & Gillette
