Are you a single dad, a depressed dad or a male asian victim of domestic violence…..

We are getting an increasing number of calls and emails from production companies and researchers looking to make programmes about men.

We don’t know if this because there is a sudden rise in interest in men’s issues or if The Men’s Network is simple getting better known and being approached more.

If you know any men who are interested in taking part in a TV programme or a research project then please let them know if they are:

AN ASIAN MALE VICTIM OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE as the BBC is researching a potential documentary on this subject – contact office@themensnetwork.org.uk for details. See also this article –click here– for male victims of all racial backgrounds.

A SINGLE FATHER, if so a researcher at Bristol University would like to talk to you about your experiences – click here now for more information.

A DAD WHO SUFFERED POST-NATAL DEPRESSION as there’s a production company hoping to make a programme about men who have suffered or are suffering from post natal depression. Contact office@themensnetwork.org.uk for details.

ARE YOU 50 – 70 AND NEVER BEEN  A DAD?

Robin Hadley at Keele University is studying men who wanted to a dad but aren’t. He would like to interview men from a variety of social, cultural, religious, and family backgrounds about involuntary childlessness. To take part in this study you must be aged 50 – 70 and have been aware of a desire to be a father, either now or in the past. If that’s you check out Robin’s website for more info here.
