Can you help us Kick Male Cancer in Brighton & Hove

Calling all Ian Rush, Mark Lawrence an Ruud Gullit lookalikes……..The Men’s Network is inviting teams of tash-wearing footballers to take part in a 6-a-side tournament to help Beat Male Cancer in Brighton & Hove.

Men and women over 15 are invited to dress like a 70s or 80s footballer for the fundraising kick-about at the University of Sussex to raise money to tackle male cancer in the city.

Local men are more likely to be living with an undiagnosed cancer so it is hoped that the fun event on Sunday 22nd April will generate more awareness of male cancers.

All money raised will support the local Beat Male Cancer campaign that runs projects such as The Talking Testicles school talks programme and is planning to develop a support network for male cancer patients and survivors.

The Kick Male Cancer 6-a-side Football Tournament is taking place on Sunday 22nd April, 11:30am – 4:00pm at the University of Sussex Sports Complex, Falmer.

Fancy dress is not compulsory but there will be prizes for the best dressed retro teams with bonus points awarded for big perms and hairy top lips

Entry is £50 per team for a squad of up to eight players and all teams must register before the day by emailing Ben Dew  ben@themensnetwork.org.uk or calling Ben on 07824 612899.
