Congratualtions to testicular cancer survivor Ryan Walshe who has spoken to more than 1,000 teenagers in Brighton & Hove about testicles since taking part in our Community Leaders Program this summer.
Ryan also made an appearance at the First National Conference For Men and Boys where he met the excellent suicide prevention initiative, CALM, who have featured his story on their CALMzone website – click here to read it now.
And check out some of the great feedback Ryan is getting form local teens like this comment from a local lad called Ben:
“Thanks for the talk on friday, i think it’s really good that you’re using your experience to your advantage and genuinely wanting to make a difference. I definitely learnt a lot from the talk, and i really hope you are rewarded for taking all the time to teach uneducated students like me – i also agree that the subject should 100% be taught in schools because it’s so important, could save many lives!”
