Goodbye International Men’s Day

This weekend marked The Men’s Network’s second International Men’s Day celebration with more than a hundred people turning out to support our hairy annual fundraising fun run –  The Tash Dash.

The Tash Dash is great fun made special by lots of men, women, children and small dogs being prepared to dress up, make fools of themselves and have a great laugh in the company of family and friends – whilst wearing moustaches.

And of course International Men’s Day has a serious point too as it seeks not just to celebrate the  huge contribution that men make to their families and communities, but also to bring more focus to some of the areas of life where men and boys needs help an support.

This year we saw IMD take giant steps to gain broader recognition in the UK and we have produced a report on what was achieved across the country which you can read now when you click on this link.
