The Men’s Network is supporting the ITV Walk 4 LIfe in Brighton & Hove this Sunday 25th September. Join hundreds of people on a 1 mile walk along the seafront from the Peace Statue on Hove Lawns.
The Men’s Network’s Beat Male Cancer Team will be there with our new Male Cancer Awareness Ambassador, Ryan Walshe, a young cancer survivor who has created the Talking Testicles campaign and is now raising awareness of testicular cancer in local schools.
The walk has been organised by the Brighton & Hove Healthwalks team who are keen to see more men making use of their service as currently women are more than twice as likely to take advantage of the FREE health walks service – click here to find out more about Healthwalks.
Being physically active is one of the lifestyle changes that can improve men’s health and life expectancy and help prevent some cancers in men and women. The ITV Walk 4 Life event starts at 10.30 am on Sunday 25th September with the walk leaving at 11am. For more details contact click about this Sunday’s event click here.
