Calling all artistic men………

The Men’s Network is looking for local men who want to take part in a great community art project leading to a public exhibition as part of White Night 2011 – Brighton and Hove’s annual free all-night arts festival in October 2011 – (click here for the White Night website).

We invite men and boys of all ages, backgrounds and all levels of artistic experience to get in touch about taking part or coming to an initial meeting at The Brighton Youth Centre in Edward Street on Wednesday 31st August 2011 between 7pm and 9pm.

The aim of this initiative is to develop a group/groups of men and boys who will work together to help visualize and document some of the life experiences of men and boys and help highlight and address some of the shared issues and concerns of men and boys living in the city today.

The project is being led by local artist Dave Allistone a regular member of our Dads’ Group who is developing this project on our Community Leaders Program which is training and developing volunteers to develop projects for men and boys (click here for more on The Men’s Networks’ Community Leaders Program).

You an contact Dave Allistone of Exploring Senses directly about this on 07825 371559 or email Dave at david@exploringsenses.co.uk
