Support Men With Eating Disorders This Week

The story of a Norwich man whose life was saved by an eating disorder charity and is now fighting to save the charity, is a great example to us all the every one of us has a role to play in making our towns, cities and communities work for everyone – men and boys included (click here for full story).

Brighton & Hove is served by the excellent men’s charity Men Get Eating Disorders Too (MGEDT) – set up by one of our city’s great young male role models – Sam Thomas.

This week Sam and the MGEDT team will be making sure that the voices of men and boys are heard during Eating Disorders Awareness Week 2011 (February 21st-27th)

Sam is asking everyone to show their support for MGEDT and the fight to raise awareness of eating disorders in men by doing something that raises awareness and raises funds for MGEDT at the same time!

EDAW 2011 sees the release of MGEDT’s fundraising drive for the week ‘7 days, 7ways!’
