Lots of manly fundraising going on….

There seems to be a sudden spate of manly fundraising going at the moment.

This weekend on Sunday 14th October sees the men and boys taking part in the annual Noon Walk for The Martlets Hospice in Hove. It’s a 13 mile fundraising walk that starts at the Probiz County Cricket Ground in Hove at, erm, Noon, obviously.

Walkers head to Saltdean Lido for a refreshment pit stop before heading back to the Cricket Ground where you’ll find well-earned pint and a medal waiting for you!

The day before, staff and supporters at Mankind, the charity for male victims of sexual abuse, are walking 10 miles from Newhaven to Hove to fund its plan to open a new dedicated resource centre for anyone affected by the sexual violation of men and boys.  Mankind need to raise a further £4,000 to make this happen and you can support them today by giving £2 or more online. Last but not least it’s the Tash Dash for men, women and children who want to grow, draw or stick on a daft moustache and walk, jog or run 5k with us along the seafront to Beat Male Cancer on Saturday 17th November. Click HERE to find out more.

Oh, and for those of you who don’t want to raise money for some great local charities that really need you cash but want to fundraiser for big charity that gets millions of pounds already, don’t forget Movember is coming.
