The theme for International Men’s Day 2012 (Monday 19th November) has been announced.

This year the theme of the international day of observance will be Helping Men and Boys Live Longer, Happier, Healthier Lives.

In the build up to the event, supporters of the day are being asked to focus on five key challenges linked to health and wellbeing which are:

1. Improving men’s life expectacny

2. Helping men get help

3. Improving boys’ education

4. Tackling tolerance of violence against men and boys

5. Promoting fathers and male role models

The Men’s Network in Brighton & Hove will be the UK lead co-ordinator for International Men’s Day in 2012. For more information on this year’s theme then click here now to  visit the International Men’s Day UK Website.
